| Which
do you think is a more effective sales technique?
- Hold up a nicely
etched panel of glass for a customer and ask him or her to "imagine"
how good it would look in a door in their home, or
- have a display already
made up with the etched panel mounted in a beautiful hardwood
door for your customer to actually see.
If you realize how much
more powerful it is to show off your etchings in a finished display,
you may have already looked for a finished door - with no glass
in it - and discovered it is almost impossible to locate. And if
you have ever tried to remove glass that comes installed in most
finished doors (with moldings that are glued and stapled in), you
already know how easy it is to damage the door or break the glass.
Well, now you
have access to beautiful, solid hardwood doors made especially
for decorative glass (etched, carved beveled or stained
glass panels). These are genuine pre-finished Glass Craft doors
that come with fully finished molding strips (cut and mitred to
size), ready to install any type of glass you choose. There is room
in these doors for single panes of glass up to 1/2" thick or
insulated glass units - even stained glass panels.
Note: Glass does not come with these doors - so it is easy to get
whatever glass you want to use. You have it cut to size, you etch
it and it's easy to install yourself.
Not
just beautiful doors, this is a system of pre-finished doors and
matching pre-cut glass etching stencils that will allow you to create
striking etched or carved glass door sets for yourself, your friends
and your customers. Click here to open a window of the available
etching designs.
These doors
are top quality mahogany available unfinished or with a beautiful 8 step factory finish, available in several
different colors of stain. They are available in 2 different shapes
and sizes of glass openings with more to be added. One of
the best things about these doors is how reasonable the prices are!
Just
look what you can do with these doors:
- Use
them as display pieces for your etched glass in your showroom
or at shows
- Use
them to mount your etched pieces for photography
- Sell
the doors to your customers (as well as the glass) for extra profit.
- Of
course, use them in your own home or business or for your friends.

FYI:
The word "light" as it is used here refers to the piece
of glass that goes in the door opening. So, a full light door has
the largest opening possible for the glass. A 2/3 light door means
that the opening size is 2/3 as large as the largest possible size.
An arch light means a rectangular opening that has an arched top. |

Step-by-step
to success*
- First, select
a door with the size and shape of opening you want
- Second, select
a design that you want to etch, in the same size and shape as
the opening of the door
- Third, when
the door and the pre-cut stencil arrive, measure the opening or
make a template and order the glass you want to etch.
- Fourth, etch
the glass and install it in the door and you are finished!
- If you want
to create your own design to etch, just order the door by itself.
Apply regular etching resist to the glass, transfer and cut the
design and etch it. Or, we can enter your design into our computer
system and create a pre-cut stencil of your own design!
(*These instructions
obvoiusly do not include installation of hardware or hanging the
door. Unless you are experienced in these procedures, use a qualified
carpenter.) |

- Remember to allow plenty of time when ordering your doors. Manufacturing time to time of shipment averages 4 to 6 weeks. Prices below do not include $75 crating charge (added when ordering) or shipping charges, which we will quote you by phone.
