type of glass, flat or round.Single stage, two stage and multi-stage
(or multi-level) carving techniques are thoroughly explained and
demonstrated on this 1 hour, 27 minute tape. Learn everything you
need to know to carve glass, including analyzing the design for
proper carving sequence, how to carve different types of designs,
equipment and supplies necessary. There are also sections on using
pre-cut resists, carving techniques using an on-site blaster and
safety considerations. The tape is based on an explanation--presentation--demonstration
model.
Each technique
is first explained, then the project meant to show that technique
is presented and demonstrated step by step. The tape starts out
with the simplest one-stage carving technique and progresses to
increasingly more complex multi-stage techniques and projects. Four
full size patterns for projects presented on the tape are included
when you purchase the tape, so you can follow along with the tape
to quickly learn to carve your own projects. Pre-cut stencils of
all designs on the tape are available on a variety of resists.
