Just slide the glass through, stopping to blast a new area as it enters the cabinet. The slots (and the easel inside) are tipped back at the top seven degrees so that the glass will rest against the rear gaskets in the cabinet and create a seal against abrasive loss.

This angle also makes the work much easier to see than in a vertical position. When the gaskets are installed in the slots, the MiniPasser is a conventional cabinet. Blast sheets up to 24" x 29" (61 cm x 73,6 cm) and 3D objects up to 12" (30.5 cm) deep can also be blasted.

Lighting
The MiniPasser comes with a unique internal light source. This is a magnetic-base, swivel head, flexible gooseneck lamp. The magnetic-base sticks fast anyplace in the cabinet and the swivel head reflector on the gooseneck allows the light to be adjusted in any direction. This type of lamp is essential for detailed sandblasting.

Special Easel
Inside the cabinet there is a pair of adjustable supports which act as an easel. This is a very convenient stand for smaller flat pieces of glass while they are being blasted. These steel supports are adjustable in height so that they hold even very small pieces, and they can be raised to the top of the cabinet so the work is easier to see. The supports are lined with plastic to minimize glass scratching. The easel can be removed in seconds so the cabinet will accommodate large 3D objects.

Shipping
This cabinet comes in two halves so that it can be shipped by UPS. That will result in a substantial savings in freight over other cabinets. It takes only a few minutes and eight screws to assemble the two halves.

The MiniPasser(tm) can be used with any stand-alone pressure or siphon blaster. Its small size makes it ideal for small workshops. Because of its limited interior space, it is best primarily for surface etching on larger pieces of glass, though it can easily be used for carving or shading on smaller pieces of flat or 3 dimensional glass for gift items, awards, etc.

2. Slide slots: Accommodates sheets up to 1/2" (1.27 cm) thick by 24" (61 cm) in width. Gaskets:24" (61 cm) molded foam strips are tucked into the slots to seal the cabinet. The narrow face of the strip is used when there is glass in the slot and the wide face when the slot is vacant.Built-in Easel: Holds any size sheet that will fit in the cabinet. The easel is removable for 3D objects. Lighting: A 100 Watt magnetic-base adjustable lamp. Spring-loaded hopper door: Keeps the abrasive in the hopper until it is time to replenish the pressure pot.Gauntlet-type gloves: Keeps arms and hands from coming in contact with the abrasive.

Accessories:

1. A 90 CFM dust collector with self-emptying filter bag.
2. A lightweight, flexible hose assembly for the inside of the cabinet. This type of hose is far less rigid than a standard sand hose used with most pressure blasters. The operator can direct the nozzle with very little effort and much greater accuracy.
